Joelle is a really new muse and having her partner around would really help to flesh her out! Ryan is a seasoned intelligence agent in his 40's, who was Joelle's partner and BFF when they served together overseas. He taught her almost everything and she became his girl Friday. Now that she has been reassigned to Washington, she misses him a lot and only gets to talk with him now and then through secure messages.
I'd love to have a Ryan around for both flashback spy stories and present-day buddy stuff. I like the idea of them maintaining a close bond without the ability to actually reach out and touch each other. I didn't write them as being romantically involved but would be open to the idea with some CR. Really, it's a total open playing field! Come at me with ideas.
