I absolutely agree with all of that. They really didn't handle Quinn well after S1. They seem to only develop certain characters, and the others - what continuity? what development? - It's as though they forget crucial points in their storylines that would absolutely have an impact on the characters. [They were all about Beth in S3, but she just disappeared and Puck never said a word after that...?]
With storylines, you nearly have to go with AU at this point. They're at a standstill.
[Cross-canon = Quinn x non-Glee characters? I've been playing Puck on and off with Lily from Black Swan. That is good times and a very interesting pairing...]
