This is bound to get a little wordy, so I'll open with this: I know there are probably dozens upon dozens of X-Men muses out there and I know there are probably even more poking at the unsuspecting mun, so to you guys, I say this: I WANT TO SEE YOU AROUND MORE! ALL OF YOU! I WANT YOU TO BUST OUT THOSE X-MEN MUSES!

If you've seen me around recently, you might notice that Kitty is already interwoven into a larger little world that has developed through various characters and players. We've all been playing with each other for years now and we're quick to work each other's newer characters into things -- I completely understand how intimidating that seems but I do not want this to discourage anyone from playing with us. This isn't so much a want ad, as an... open invitation, and honestly, with a new X-Men movie coming out, I know this is bound to bring out a few characters. I'd love to see y'all around. :3

oh man, i bet. it's definitely easy to lose track of a character if you're not following the comics with any regularity, too.

Yeah, I kinda stopped reading American comics in the late 90's....

I've been playing him off and on for a while though his game canon's gone off from book canon a lot. Doesn't help that he's one they don't use as often as some of the others.

haha, i can sympathize, sort of. i got angry and stopped reading x-men books for... man, like, eight years? i still don't feel like i've caught up with everything and i've definitely been trying.

yeah, i think i can only name one book i've read in the last year that i've seen warren in and i'm pretty sure what i read him in had been out for a couple years? he had a issue of all-new x-men, too, but his character has been kind of wiped clean so he has no real connection to the past. his kids have been causing a crapload of trouble over on uncanny avengers, but that's a whole other mess. (and a book i follow very loosely for another character of mine, if only because i am not too fond of the writer and she's gone a far different direction in game than in canon.)

I want to make someone to play with you, but I don't know who! I've never really played x-men, and I'm no where near caught up with any Marvel canon. I just recently started getting back into the comics after several years of not being able to have time or money to devote to it. But now I have both, and I have no idea where to start catch-up at.

I've bought the first 12 issues of All New X-Men off comixology. It's pretty amazing. And Prof Kitty is brilliant.

oh man, i wish i had some suggestions for you! i would looooove some new people to play with, after all. if you enjoy ANXM i'd probably suggest maybe one of the bb!x-men, perhaps? :3

i'm also a nerd who gets strangely proud of this dumb book. it has it's flaws, of course, but i am so pleased with it thus far. i looove seeing kitty play a bigger role these days. :3

I've been thinking about making Cyclops, honestly. I like younger Scott. And adult Scott. Cyclops is my very favorite X-Men. I just signed up for Marvel Unlimited and they go up to issue 16 of ANXM, so I can get a little further along in a bit. I just read 13. I love bby!x-men's characterizations.

Yes! Kitty should always have a bigger role. The short time she was in limbo between books was sad. I remember trying to read comics then and got bored without her around. (She's one of my faves, too.)

you should, you should! he's a gr8 character. i actually just got my best friend into, really, marvel in general, but i've got her reading ANXM and the first thing she did was tell me what an adorable little shit scott was.

she's easily on my top five in terms of x-men characters, so i've been thrilled with ~professor kitty~. bendis is surprisingly good to her, pretty good at writing her, and he seems to really like her, too, so that gives me hope that he'll continue to treat her right and help her grow as a character in ways that are probably long overdue. (she's not a teenager anymore!)
