I'm looking for a Lydia Deetz for Betelgeuse to play with. Preferably, I would like to continue from after the movie and have them slowly develop a friendship/relationship similar to what they had in the cartoon. My muse's background is more heavily in the movieverse, with the cartoon used to round things out a bit, though. I'm open to ideas and plotting, including romance, though I am a fade to black roleplayer.

I've seen the movie and the cartoon before and just rewatched both recently and yeah, how I didn't ship them before, I don't know how. I wouldn't mind eventually having something blossom, though it clearly wouldn't be done in a traditional sense, given both of their quirky personalities.

Yeah, traditional is just not in their bag of tricks and I would imagine Betelgeuse will have to earn her trust, given how they left off. lol The cartoon really sold me on their relationship. Well, that and I have a huge crush on Michael Keaton. :D

More like tricks up their sleeves? Ha! The cartoon did really flesh out Beetle's character, though I feel not as much as Lydia. And I'm still shocked that Keaton played Batman after playing Beetlejuice. The man has talent!

So here's the big question: how, where and when should we start these two off?

Yeah, that too, which is better than the other things Betelgeuse has up his sleeves. :D I'm still shocked he played Betelgeuse after playing Mr. Mom. Very talented!

Would you object to joining genessia? It's a pretty cool game. There's no application and no activity check, but the players are awesome! I've gotten some really excellent CR there. If you don't want to join a game, one of us could do a post on sixwordstories.

Well what exactly is Genessia all about? Is it just a writing community or is there an actual game plot? It's been awhile since I've done anything more than onexone but I'm sure Lydia wouldn't mind all the extra company!

Hmm I wouldn't call it a writing community...I don't think? It's more a text basede rpg, set in a world called Genessia. Every so often, the mods will have a game wide plot happen, but a lot of the time, it's just the muses carrying on and interacting? For sixwordstories, definitely! I'm not sure about genessia. A Lydia was there, but it looks like she might not be coming back. They instituted a light activity check and she hasn't been around in a while. Still, I'd love to play, if you like! :D

I have a musebox~ I'm surprised to even find you, to be honest! There aren't many castmates around and that's quite depressing. I think I saw a Barbara on d_m but that was a long time ago.
