So I spoke with butwedonot's mun after watching X-Men: Days of Future Past and both of us were feeling like there was a lot to be desired from the film. It's good for what it is, but when you look at it as a sequel to X-Men: First Class there is a lot that doesn't feel right. So we intend to re-write it, doing our own spin on the events that follow X-Men: First Class, and we're inviting you to come join us. We're invoking the fun aspects of X-Men: First Class, which is not to say it isn't going to get serious, but unlike X-Men: Days of Future Past, we're invoking the love, the main theme that sets X-Men: First Class apart from the other X-Films.

What I have been proposing to Charles's mun is a what if scenario. Charles doesn't get paralyzed but definitely has repercussions. I want to do character building and development. Figure who these people are after the fall out.

The thing is, I don't think Raven can stay away. The guys at Charles's are still her family too. She's not going to throw everything away for Erik.

The idea that they sort of have to move on together is nice. Because we don't see much of that at all. In between the two films is the good stuff. :P
