I've had Karen for a while now and I've come to the conclusion I'd like her to have a PC partner to play off of. Writing all her at-work scenes by myself just hasn't really worked for me, and I think I'd have better luck fleshing out Karen's professional life if I were working with somebody else.
Her existing partner is an NPC and I wouldn't mind someone playing him for her. He's a retired Marine turned detective named Scott Clayton, who's become Karen's best friend and sort of surrogate parent to her son. They have a platonic banter and Scott's calm demeanor keeps Karen's more intense approach balanced out. Scott's PB is Philip Winchester.
I'd also be open to someone else offering up a character as her partner, whether it's another OC or a fandom character. I've seen a few OC cops around and it might be fun to develop characters together, but Karen is malleable to fandoms too. I'd like her partner to be a guy, just because Karen spends most of her time around guys. Not necessarily shippy/smutty, though I won't rule that out if someone wants to play that.
I'm pretty flexible as to what I'll play, so anybody is welcome to drop me a line and we can talk out ideas!
