So Eva here (or Evie if you're a particularly close friend) is a bayou-born witch from Terrebonne Parish, LA. If you think you've heard of it before, it's because The Skeleton Key was set there. Basically, it's a lot of water with a few plantations and smaller type houses scattered throughout it. But most of the land is swamp.
Evie and Andre dated all through high school and most everyone assumed they were going to get married (as you do). This, of course, caused Evie to FREAK OUT and take off -- hopping the first bus out of Louisiana the morning after their High School graduation. Her mother had gotten married young and that had ended less than well. Her dad had run off and her mother ended up taking her own life when Evie was only four (which is how she came to be raised by her aunt). ANYWAY, she was determined not to be just another girl from the swamp with a pack of kids and so she ran off. Leaving behind not just Andre, but her best friend Marie.
She traveled a bit before meeting up with some guys in Philly (among them Eric Morgan). One thing led to another and she ended up being offered a job on Spirit Chasers, the #1 Ghost Hunting show on TV, as their resident witch.
Fast forward six years and the show is headed to New Orleans to film. Which means Evie has to face her past, including Andre.
IDK. I just really really want feels with her and him. Cause she still loves him. It was part of the whole reason she fled. Cause she knew that if he asked, she'd say yes.
I am also thinking Charlie Hunnam for Andre. Yes? No? Maybe? If people have other ideas, I'm all for it. Come at me. <3
