My Mark is based off of the stage production, not the movie. Personally, I hate the movie because I feel like it butchered several of the characters [especially Joanne], flattened the characters and their relationships [including romanticizing the toxic relationship that is Mimi and Roger], and pretty much cut out the heart of the story. I'm more than open to AU storylines and continuing from the end of stage production. I do play Mark as bisexual with him being in love with Roger. Mark/Roger is my main ship for Mark, but I am open to Mark/Mimi and doing past things with Mark/Maureen.

Haven't gotten to see play in person, but have seen bits and pieces. Have seen the movie not that it is relevant here lol

It's on youtube. I can get the links for you, if you'd like. You get a better feel for the characters and their relationships in the stage production than you do in the movie. The movie seriously watered down all the characters.
