I'd be possibly interested in playing Draco for that - although I've not read anything beyond the original seven books. Where Draco goes after finishing is interesting; he's still very rich and pretty skilled at magic (he'd probably have been top of their year if not for Hermione); he's also managed to repair a broken magic artifact (the vanishing cabinet) while at school.
My initial thought is that he gets stuck making/repairing something and bites the bullet and asks the one person he knows is smarter than he is for help - and the one person he genuinely feels guilty about the way he treated. She's also struggling; aimless, finding Ron wasn't what she actually wanted, and also that there are a lot of doors that aren't open for her. And there's no systematic continuing education in the Wizarding World and no master looking for her as an apprentice.
