The first time I made this muse on Livejournal, it was because the book series was being re-printed. Now, several years later, the announcement of the Netflix series made me remember she existed. (I am not exaggerating when I say EVERYONE I KNOW texted me to tell me about the reboot).
Once upon a time these books WERE my childhood. Sure, they were cheesy and no one ever aged but my 7-10 year old self so did not care.
And just like I am sure I was not the only person who had a crush on Zack Morris, I know I am not the only person who read these books obsessively. So why not have a little next gen fun with them. Who did they grow up to be? What are their kids like? Etc. Etc.
Come on...don't make me be the crazy person in the corner...
