Your Muse: Sebastian Moran
Muse wanted: Jim Moriarty (primarily), but also looking for other BBC Sherlock mates
Community: open (~bakerstreet, private museboxes, maybe a game/comm, if anyone needs a Moran)
Fandom: BBC Sherlock/Sherlock Holmes
Canon or AU: whatever floats your boat!
Medium: tv show, book
Contact via: Here or message me :)
Open for brainstorming and plotting. A Jim for a highly dysfunctional and unhealthy relationship would be ace. Or a John Watson for a post-TRF line. Also up for first-person ic blogging/conversations/Q&A/texts via posts etc.

I tend to play them as rather messed up mix of lovers and worker mates muddled up together but I'm happy to go either direction. I do tend to ship them so if you're good with that, so am I.
no subject
Line-wise, I'd be good with either option. Maybe post-TRF, for the freedom you mentioned? And yes to shipping them! I absolutely love messed up relationships and I think Sebastian and Jim are the definition of dysfunctional, so yes please ;)

Brilliant! Do you want to hand-wave Moriarty coming back from the 'dead' and just lead into them back in full force of? Or do you have any specific ideas or plots you want to toss out for them to do? And brilliant, dysfunctional relationship ftw.

not as perfect as Craig Parkinson). So thumbs up, indeed! Awesome PB choice <3Oh, and should you maybe be interested in a MorMor line, let me know :) My Jim comes with a pretty toxic personality, but tends to treat his chief of staff better than the rest - promise!
no subject
That being said, I'm always interested in Mormor lines! Toxic and twisted is their bread and butter, isn't it? I'd absolutely love to do something.
no subject
Yes, yes, so much! Toxic and twisted and bruised, but still sort of, kind of working (at least for them). I think I even have a fresh and clean Jim journal that I could use (~alwayswestwood). Hm. Do you have a preference for the plot or timeline?
no subject
Sounds like you and I think alike on how this works already! (also I like your choice of lyrics. Some say you're trouble, boy, just because you like to destroy all the things that bring the idiots joy)
I am completely flexible. Anything from Sebastian's discharge up to and through post-Reichenbach to AUs. Do you have somewhere you'd like to start in mind?
no subject
OMG you are actually the first to get the lyrics reference <3 And yes, it definitely looks like we're on the same page :)
Same here, completely flexible! I have always wondered about their first meeting and how the more-than-boss/sniper-ball got rolling (mostly because my Moran wasn't gay at all and Jim was his one big exception to the rule), but I also love the idea of a reunion after Reichenbach. Or we could start with a scene from mid-series to get a feeling for the dynamic of our guys and skip forwards or backwards as we please. Doesn't have to be strictly chronological.
no subject
It's one of my many songs for these guys. :D
Jim, you with that silver tongue turning straight military men... well, less straight. Sounds fantastic, though. Time skipping completely works for me and gives us a nice, big sandbox to play in.
edit: Would you like to start something tonight, perhaps?
no subject
Also: not all my tags are walls of texts!!! I adjust to what is given, really! Completely flexible when it comes to writing length :)
Yes =D Soundtracks and playlist <333 Oh God, I love you already!
Exactly! Silver tongue and a strange but omnipresent authority (and the knowledge that Sebastian needs him more than he needs Sebastian x| )
Ugh, how I hate my timezone :( UK player here. But I should be around tomorrow all day, so if you'd like to start something while I'm off, feel free, or else I will do it tomorrow :)

That's me as well. I tend to be on the shorter side naturally because I like fast-paced things, but I'm definitely guilty of wall-of-texting now and again.
I am a music junkie with many playlists. If you ever need music, I can send you things :D
I'm glad you said that since that's pretty much the basis of my thinking for Sebastian, too. He'll always need Jim more than Jim needs him.
Don't worry at all. I don't sleep a whole lot and when I do it's usually at odd hours and I'm up all night anyway. So it might work out!
no subject
Either is fine with me. My starters tend to get a bit longer, but I'm fine with short replies as well.
Yes, me too. And ohhhh, that would be so fantastic. Music exchange ;)
OMG perfect! Jim's going to love it.
I hope it will. This already sounds so amazing that I can't wait to get this line off the ground. Like I said, if you feel like starting us off, feel free - or choose a scenario and I'll write up something tomorrow morning! G'night and see you!
no subject
Mine as well. Setting up a scene takes a bit of extra work, after all. I don't do one line replies or anything- well, not unless it's just back-and-forth dialog in some place like SixWordStories.
I'm all for music exchange. I love finding new things to like!
If there's anything off, you'll have to tell me. I've seen such a wide spectrum of Sebastians that I'm never quite sure what people expect.
I'm trying to think something up! I'll edit this if I come up with anything clever.
no subject
Yes, exactly. I do one-liners for first-person ic convos on tumblr, but prefer a couple of sentences (or paragraphs even) when threading.
I snooped around in Sebastian's journal and I think your guy is fantastic. I adore the headcanon and the quotes are perfect, especially the very first one about addictive personalities <3
no subject
Absolutely agreed.
Oh thank goodness. I was hoping you'd be okay with him. He's got a mouth on him but he's very loyal and absolutely obedient when he needs to be. But behind closed doors he'll push his boundaries because what fun is a quiet, obedient pet? Those are dispensable.
(also, I can't explain how please I am to have come here to leave you a compliment and walked away with a new RP partner
edit: FFFF. Excuse all my typos. I just woke up from a nap.)
no subject
Dispensable and boring, yup. I think if Sebastian wants (at least) a little bit of Jim's respect, he has to stand his ground and test the boundaries from time to time. As long as it's just between the two of them? Jim will not only expect but also enjoy it (immensely, to be honest).
(And I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am that you left me a comment <3 Thank you so, so much!
No worries. Typos happen.)
no subject
And that's precisely what he's going to do. However do you tolerate- let alone enjoy- it, Jim?
(I'm completely delighted. Where do you think we should start? I believe you said mid-canon just for warmup?)
no subject
Perfect! Also, who said he'll tolerate it? Sebastian might try to stand his ground and protest and be a big mouth, but - in the end - it's Jim who wins, so the only thing Moran will achieve is enhancing Jim's power over him - which happens to be very enjoyable from Jim's point of view. There wouldn't be a sense in stealing freebies, you know ;)
(Sure, we can dive right in. If we want to use the series, the pool comes to mind - or maybe the killing of the blind lady? Or we could start with an off-screen scene - maybe the first time Sebastian has to kill a lover? I read your headcanon about Sebastian's relationships and how his lovers sometimes disappear. Why not use it and start with Sebastian discovering that his new target is his girlfriend/affair/favorite hooker?)
no subject
Well, point. But he could just outright end him over it, so he tolerates it to his own ends, I suppose? Sebastian will never stop pushing back, though, no matter how many times Jim wins.
(It's actually something that also happens in Hound of D'Ubervilles but I need to go collect the passage for it. STILL that would fantastic. Having to kill his favorite whore/lady-friend. That'd be a big first step for Sebastian and Jim, that much devotion to Jim's cause and rules.
Sebastian, however, is displeased. Suck it up, Moran.)
no subject
Honestly, I think the fact that Sebastian could easily win in a physical fight and that he is, in fact, the most dangerous (or second most dangerous) man makes Jim's victory all the sweeter for him. Controlling ordinary people is okay, but controlling Moran? A kick - or the closest to a kick Jim will get. Also, going with Andrew Scott's Moriarty, so expect a bit of his awful needling (fueling fire is always a good idea, right? Right.)
(Oh, lovely! And yes, definitely a big step. Jim wouldn't provide any form of explanation and simply expect Sebastian to follow his orders, so -- a test, yup.
Well, Jim approves of our decision (and wants me to add the friendly advise that Moran should, indeed, suck it up and get to work, or else the Colonel will have to do over-hours and stand guard while Jim has his favourite hooker over for a bit of stress-relief...)
no subject
Taming Tigers isn't an easy feat. And needling is great, especially when Moran's out and can't do anything about it. Just makes him all more aggressive as soon as the door latches behind them.
(Shall I start? In Sebastian's personal journal?
That would really, really get under his skin.)
no subject
Well, it's good that it isn't. And yay, in that case Sebastian will get the full program. Btw, violent/near-death-experiences in the bedroom (purposely or accidental) - yay or nay? It was part of my original MorMor headcanon, but can be easily left out or reduced to an overall unhealthy relationship.
(That would be wonderful! I'm not sure if I will be able to tag right away, but you'll get a response first thing tomorrow morning :)
Yeah - which would be exactly the effect Jim would be hoping for [but he also wants Sebastian, so the night would likely end differently -- with Jim strangling the hooker. Similar noises, similar effect on the man by the door, but Jim's idea of a 'happy end', you know? 'Mh, that was fun. Now, come in and help me cleaning up this mess, pookie')
