For the male vampire: I'd like to start a verse where Cat is turned into the very thing she has spent her life trying to destroy, a vampire. I'd prefer an elder male vampire for this. Someone who is going to try their best to corrupt her even though she continues hunting after the change. Eventual romance is optional.
For the male hunter: I have in mind for this guy and Cat to be old acquaintances and/or lovers from when she was younger, I'm thinking when she was in her mid-twenties. He may have been someone she worked with on a fairly regular basis while hunting. At some point, though, he betrayed her, resulting in the death of her mentor and her almost dying.
She'd been looking for him ever since then but he obviously left town. Ten years later though, he suddenly he turns back up in town. Their initial contact won't be pretty but I'm thinking he's back in town to make amends and tell her what really happened and to possibly get back in her good graces. Romance is optional like I said but I would prefer for them to have been lovers.
I'm open to any suggestions and other ideas as well :)
