I have been playing this character for a while on LJ but I'm very new here, and quite excited to meet new players.

Essentially, I'm looking for good CR. Not necessarily long or planned plots -though those are nice too- but interesting interactions. That being said, I'm pretty much open to anything, from gen to smut. I literally ship ALL the things and can adapt to almost any canon/AU point.

As far as MCU goes, I've played Agent Hill over email roleplay groups. I can't think of any canon ways for these two get along though but Loki is my favorite villain of the Marvel-verse and I couldn't resist giving this a go.

Well, I really like Agent Hill myself, so I'm sure we could think of something... we just have to come up with a situation in which they wouldn't try to kill each other ~~too much~~.

They could be forced to work with each other against a common foe? Loki would cooperate, if it were in his best interests, or if Daddy made him. OR, if you want to go the other way 'round, he could always mind-control her into helping him.

Ever since the movie came out, she's been my muse. It's tough to find chick muses that aren't all ... you know, horribly cliche with their girly minds. And she reminds me of Sarah Connor from the Terminator so there's that. And yes, the situation is the problem. Maria is so black-and-white and she's against working with anything that she can't control. Of course, she works with Fury but that's not the point.

A common foe sounds the closest to a good plot idea. All I can think of is Odin sends him back to Earth without his powers, like he did with Thor but I don't even know if that's completely possible because Loki has a way around everything. I don't know about mind-control but I could see him forcing her to do things or else risk having him kill other people?

I agree and it's a cool that Marvel is generally good at delivering badass female characters with a true personality! We really need more of them around.

Common foe would work, yes. We could even make it Thanos, it wouldn't be so far-fetched is a post-Avengers setting. De-powering Loki completely would be a huge blow for him but I'm game, it would make him all-the-more eager to do his penance right to get them back. And yes, he would probably try to manipulate her in some of way or the other, even with no mind-control involved. This could be really good!

Haha, preach it! Not that I don't mind the few girly characters but sometimes, it feels like that's all we have to play with. Though even soldier chicks can be girly sometimes!

Thanos was the teaser villain at the end of the Avengers movie, wasn't he? So that would make sense. Also, SHIELD would still be wary of Loki since with or without his powers, he can be a little deviant. She might even be assigned to keep an eye on him maybe? Manipulation could also be played both ways! Though Maria is too blunt to be very good at it XD And I agree! This is going to be great!

Yeah, we need more diversity. It's very one-dimensional to have characters who are girly and nothing else. Women can be a lot of things, c'mon. lol.

Yes, he was. It was more or less implied that he forced Loki to work for him, and intended to punish him severely should he fail at conquering the Earth. So, that's all the more incentive for him to make sure Thanos never actually gets to rule the Universe, eh.

And that's a good idea! SHIELD trusts Hill, they would think her able to handle Loki. And he'd have to (more or less) behave to stay on their good side.

Thanos was kind of bad-ass, if I remember from the comics/cartoons from way back. I don't remember a whole lot about him so I'll have to google but he was definitely a villain to steer clear from if you could manage it. So yeah, I can see Loki being very inspired to not let Thanos have his way.

Hill is pretty much the VP of SHIELD, if you think about it. Though it never looks like its a position that she wants, only a position that's been given to her and she takes it. She's such a complicated lil bugger sometimes. Her and Coulson. Ooh, are we going with Coulson coming back as alive or dead? We should brainstorm all this out over a thread or something, unless you want to continue plotting out here? Or do you like to just jump in and wing it?

He's quite tough, yes, and much more driven than Loki ever was, as an Earth-conqueror. That could explain why SHIELD would be willing to accept Loki's help, too, they wouldn't actually have that much of a choice.

And she really is, I think it's especially striking in the alternative ending of the Avengers, Fury acknowledges it fairly clearly.

Well, my head!canon is that Coulson is way too badass to die (plus, with the announcement of the SHIELD TV show...) but I can adapt, if you'd rather have him dead, though it might make it harder for Loki for fit in.

We could always discuss the last details here, make sure we agree, and then start and see where it goes?

You know you got me! You can always join my musebox for whenever you just want to work on a scene. I don't mind if we jump around while continuing our other scene.

As for others I have here... I haven't brought over everything, but I have Buffy, Dean Winchester, Fox from Wanted, Emma Frost. So I don't know if any of those interest you. Otherwise I can try and figure out who else to bring over?

Woot! I know, I feel the same. I'm really liking the CR that's building there. I like that it's not rushed either. But I do like exploring AUs and whatnot from time to time. I'm not in the meme comms but if I see you on SSWS or SWS, I'll definitely tag you.

It's more that I'm still in two minds about whether I want to be here completely. Everyone that I used to play with is here now, and there's only a couple people on LJ that I stick around for yanno? Including you! So it's really no bother.

Pfft, given my feelings on recent canon I see no problem with it. Usually because I enjoy a good retcon from time to time, and the idea of him going head to head with Loki is actually kind of fun. My two favourite worlds colliding!

Yes, it's going very well, in a way that unpredictable enough to feel spontaneous and challenging, too! And yep, AUs are fun, especially with previous threaders :)

I understand, it bugs me a bit to be in two places at the same time too, I'd rather keep everything neat and simple, but that's just the way the rp world seems to be, these days. If you'd rather switch to here completely, it'd be fine with me.

I haven't watched the very last episode of SPN (the one with the Greek Gods, it seemed a bit meh to me) but I'm a huge fan, and Dean is such an awesome character. Do you have a canon point you'd like to start at, a plot you'd like to explore, or should we just throw them together and see what happens?

Yeah, I don't really get it. I mean, I do in that I have certainly come back here for certain players. But being in two places is messing with my head like it did before. I think if we finish up the thread we have on LJ then look at just being here? That would make things simpler. We can always link back to that thread when we start something that follows that scene.

I only see it sporadically thanks to being behind America. I really do miss writing Dean and I never quite had a chance to do it in depth or consistently. I used to like starting from the end of season 3 before all the angels and demons really took a hold. I mean, Loki getting to Dean before Cas would certainly be interesting.

I got it! And yes, bakerstreet is pretty good for stress-free, fun threads. And meeting new people, too, see if your characters get on well and plan further plotting if that's the case :)

I don't mind moving here for our threads together, if that's easier for you. I'm going to have to stay on both places at once at least for a while more, so it doesn't change much for me. I understand why the split happened between LJ and DW/IJ but it makes things a bit awkward, eh.

I have to watch it on the internet as well, it doesn't air here (or with dreadful voice-overs lol) but I do enjoy it. End of season three could be a nice place to start, yep, it might work better for a crossover, too. But how does Dean bust out of Hell, then? Does Loki free him? Or should we just handwave something about that and have Dean working on a case of strange events which lead him to Loki?

yay, I have now fully returned ^^ and yep, i'm quite looking forward to it as well. It's an 'exams' type of busy so I'm going to go with... no? lol.

Yay! And boo for exams. But hoping you passed! And I have so many fun ideas to bounce off you (Maria and Loki won't think it's fun but oh well). I'm thinking of having Thanos directly attack SHIELD and take down the Helicarrier completely, making it crash into the ocean. We can have everyone be able to evacuate but maybe Loki and Maria get stuck in a life raft in the ocean for a short time? A few hours or half a day or something? Also, and I'm kind of adding this to her character but Maria has asthma and I'd love for that to somehow play into this. Nobody would know and she would have been able to keep any asthma attacks from happening but maybe they get stuck underground somewhere, cave-in or buried alive somewhere and it could set it off.

I say you passed. If you studied right and proper, know your shit, then yes, you passed! I am very optimistic about this.

Since Thanos is all about death, we can even have most of the crew on the Helicarrier not survive. It would make more sense. Maybe there is a circle of other survivors in their life rafts (thirty or so) but they steer clear of Loki and Maria for various reasons. And yeah, the asthma is my own twist. There isn't a whole lot of canon to go on with her and I was thinking about how her mother died in childbirth and I remembered that in those cases, sometimes the child is born premature so yeah, lung problems. I dunno. I was trying to add some fun elements to her character.

I love character development/relationships. It's hard to find similarities between gods and humans so I'm celebrating in that.
