I used to write with Hunter a lot, but my lines have tapered off recently. I miss playing this kid; someone come play with me? Please? :)

Btw, in the spirit of full disclosure, we've actually played together before. I also play

If we did pre-Regionals, would you be okay with dealing with the fallout from the whole Warblers winning at Sectionals thing? I mean, it might make for a bit of a negative undertone, which I am okay with. This doesn't have to be a happy positive thing, and I'm okay with anything, anyway.

Yes, absolutely. I have some head canon backstory to sort of give him a reason why he's such a bastard (or at least so focused on winning). Between these two we're going to have negativity to start no matter what. Are you okay following canon then, maybe dropping them in somewhere between when Hunter gets in trouble (i.e. the news broadcast) and Regionals? I'm totally open to any and all thoughts. :)

That sounds great, actually! So, about threading this out, would you like to start us off, or should I?
...Oh my god, I just realized (yes, I am a derp) that you play Kurt, and Blaine is actually Kurt-less at Entranceway. You wouldn't happen to still have him as an active muse, would you? ;P
no subject
I could do, if you'd like? I was thinking something super creative like them running into each other at the Lima Bean. Does that work for you?
My Kurt muse is still active, yes. :) I am a little terrified of community RP, though. Is it really busy over there?

And yes, that would be awesome, if you don't mind! I do like the idea of them running into each other at the Lima Bean. It's a good jumping off point, at least.
And as for pacing at Entranceway, I don't think it's too fast all the time. I mean, if you miss a few days of tagging or whatever, it's not that hard to get back up to speed again. And for the most part, everyone there is very much okay with back-tagging, which is a godsend for me, because work and RL tend to throw up roadblocks in terms of my tagging motivation.
It does get busier around events, which happen every couple of weeks or so, but even then, I don't think it's completely unmanageable, because like I said, most people will backthread forever if you want them to.

Here you go! http://pencilsinmylatte.dreamwidth.org/1147.html. I hope it's okay!
Okay. I think I could give it a try? Like you, I work full-time and have a lot going on all the time, so I can go a few days between tags if I get really busy. Do you think that would be okay? Do I have to do an application or anything? I haven't done a group RP in at least five or six years, heh.

I definitely think that would be okay. Most of the players there have full-time jobs or are in school so they have periods of down-time in between tags and things seem to work out just fine. The game does have an application, which I am more than willing to help you out with, if you need it at all.
Here's some relevant links for your convenience:
Applications page | Reserved characters (a good place to start) | FAQ.
Also, we have quite a few people who are new to group RP and everyone is more than happy to offer tips and advice, if that helps!

Okay, that's good. I started looking at some of the links and it's a little overwhelming at the moment, but I'll look more when I get home later. I also looked at your app, if that's okay? Once I start on mine, I might have you look at it and see if it's good enough. :)

If you're interested, I can give you more information or you can even look in my journal. We'd love to have you.

You are correct, you would need a journal that reflects his name. I played around on IJ looking for names and found, The username huntclarington is not currently registered.
IJ is exactly like DW/LJ. The writers are more comment active right now as everyone is ending the school years but it is a lively, active bunch. Right now is actually an exciting time game wise. We are basically tossing the canon from the show since they didn't end the school year and are taking in to consideration everything that happened and building our own, awesome lines. We also have 3 Warblers: David, Wes and Jeff so Hunter wouldn't be there alone. Also, if you know any one who plays Warblers, invite them to come too. We'd love to offer you all a home.
We would still love to have you.

I have made a journal for Hunter at IJ (hjclarington) and AIM (pencilsinmylatte), but I'm not sure about the two posts I'm required to make. What should the content of those posts be like? I just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly.
Thanks so much!

You went to Leaky? That is amazing. We really hope to get lots of Warblers at the RP, especially now that it is taking a new turn towards focusing on life after McKinley and Dalton as the kids all find their spots in college, etc.
To answer your question about the two posts. Here is a link to one of our members that showcases the 2 post rule. http://blainerson.insanejournal.com/
One post is for in character interaction (that would be his "Moulin Rouge post) and the other for any out of character interaction like asking for scenes, giving a writing partner a heads up or general get to know you type stuff.
Being that there isn't a lot known on Hunter other than a brief roid-rage issue, I also want to stress that YOU have 100% complete control regarding his character. You can write a little fact or bio to let people know what he's like now versus when everything happened before.
If you need anything please let me know. I really would love to help. I'd also love for you to spread the word to Warbler writers. Anyone you find, I'll gladly add to the game, when you're ready to join.
We'd still love to have you.

I actually have a lot of Hunter's backstory in mind already, so I'm ready to play as soon as you're ready for me! I was planning to just kind of let his character come out via interaction with people, but I can post a bio as well, if you think that would be helpful?
Anyway, he's here! Do I need to do anything else?
Thank you for being so patient!
