bestintention is looking for an assistant Photography teacher who she's had a crush on for years. Now that she's not in any of the classes he assists in, she wants to attempt to turn a slightly awkward friendship into something better.

finally_freedom is starting to take college classes for the first time at age 30. A classmate or a tutor or a teacher would be nice for friendship/shippy purposes. Just friends are great, too.

good_at_heart is looking for the suitor out of all the men her father parades in front of her that she actually becomes friends with, and slowly falls in love with. Or, the maid in her father's manor who she shared a friendship/relationship with when she was just a bit younger. Or, you know, any period muses at all.

have_compassion is looking for a doctor, another nurse, or a patient for shippy purposes.

into_days is a prince looking for damsels in distress. Or, you know, damsels to save him from distress.

listenwritelive is looking for an agent/editor who starts out bossy and demanding but soon attempts to help her get over her writer's block, and offer her a shoulder to cry on, as well as inspiration.

nevergaveuphope is looking for a bar owner/manager who makes her want to stay where she is instead of picking up and moving when she gets the urge.

nvrbelieveagain is looking for a snarky, sassy, and sweet assistant to help him run his shop.

savedmysanity is looking for another reporter at his paper, perhaps working as a food critic, not living up to her potential just as he isn't, for commiseration and understanding of his frustration. Friendship with definite possibility for more.

swanssong, in both Fairy Tale Land and Storybrooke, is very adamant that she doesn't need nor want a man to be happy. Mostly, she's just afraid of heartbreak. An older Henry would be great, but we're not averse to existing characters or anyone you'd be willing to throw at us.

thislastrequest is looking for a pen pal who turns into her best friend and closest confidante. When her feelings are realized, she'll struggle with the question of actually admitting them, because she doesn't want to lose the best thing in her life. Or, ultimately, a co-worker or classmate for the same.

to_look_back is looking for the runaway mother of his child, Chelsea Swanson, who left their daughter with him after two months, and hasn't been since since. (I would love Holliday Grainger as the PB, but it's more than open for discussion.)

unending_belief is looking for other supernatural beings or hunters. I'd definitely love some sort of 'we shouldn't be together' sort of plot lines.

wishesunheard is looking for a classmate/friend who turns into more as they slowly realize that they have feelings for one another beyond simple friendship. Or a date that turns into more than just a one night thing. We could also do this plot with noexmarines, who is a Marine, recently returned home from Afghanistan and entering college for the first time.

* When a simple kiss tells you all you need to know. (I’m hoping for maybe, possibly, hopefully a OUAT character for this one)

* SO dies, organ transplant, the recipient wants to find who authorized it to say thank you, maybe feelings grow from there.

* relationship on the verge of collapse. The desperation they feel as they try to fix it before it’s too late.

* thought a breakup was the right thing to do, but as it turns out, they’re lost without each other, how they find their way back into love.

(The previous two can be worked into one.)

* Invisible - Only one person can hear him/her, not see.

* They only place they can meet is in dreams.

* Childhood friends grow up, and slowly realize they want more.

* Amnesia

* Guardian angel who falls in love with their charge.

So. I really like have_compassion's whole profile and God knows Reese here would end up being a regular patient, but. He's a bit broken and a bit young to be her one true love for some player's standards, so I'm fine with you passing on that idea. Personally I can see how it'd work, but I wouldn't want to bore you with a paragraph of plottiness unless you wanted it.

Excellent. I sort of see it as him being a bit of a broken bird who needs some gentleness before he warms up to her, and as is his habit he falls for her, but dismisses it as yet another crush he's having. Then they keep meeting and become better friends and no, it's not just a crush. There will be cute gradual shipping while they built up a relationship, and they may not realize they even are building a relationship until somehow kissing ensues.

Along the way he will have his usual psychological breakdowns while simultaneously being a very good friend, being something of a mixed blessing for her. There will be h/c. And then there will be fluff. Also the unwritten but important headcanon he's literally blocked off all his childhood years and has no idea why he's so dysfunctional will come into play, which could spawn plots of its own as she reacts uniquely as a medical professional to everything that Reese has wrong with him.

Basically she's in a position to be equal/take the bulk of the lead in this relationship with zero resistance from Reese as long as things don't go one post two post sex like some RP.

That all sounds great to me, really. I'm all for a long buildup, especially with so many sort of twists and turns along the way. I figured I'd make her fresh out of nursing school, so around 23, just so that she's closer to his age.

I'm fine with playing wherever you want. It's not often that I get to play a long build up for a romance, let alone one of my odder characters like Reese, so a musebox and maybe bakerstreet if we want to branch out is just fine by me.

I haven't had the chance to play out something with a long buildup in a long time, either. It's not that I don't like the instant attraction sort of angle, but I don't mind a change.

I like the change of pace, too. It's rare that I get to play much romance at all, though, so I may not be the best at this. A slow build up might help on that front.

invisible caught my attention. I have a character named Kiara who's a shadow being that could work for it. Either she's the one who can't be seen because it's from before I usually play her, when she hasn't quite figured out how to appear solid to people, maybe interest in your character inspires her to solve that problem?

Or alternatively it can be from when she's figured out how to have a visible form, but she hears them because she can hear the whispers in shadows? I'm willing to play this either way.

(also Angel says hi to Miles and apologizes for her absence, we are moving so my online time is spotty. Maybe we could do a modern timeline with those two as well somewhere. In "current" times Angel lives on the street because most humans have made her so unwilling to trust anyone that she prefers it to dealing with people. Maybe Miles stumbles over her and is so persistently nice she comes out of her shell and changes her mind?)

I am all for playing with Kiara - and you know that I have plenty of muses to choose from when it comes to who you think might work with her. I am all for either scenario, whichever you feel would fit best.

Kinda feel like nvrbelieveagain would be a good fit for Kiara here. I'd kinda like to play it as Kiara being the invisible one. I don't play her from before she has a visible form often and it could be fun. maybe he's the first one that hears her when she talks and she's so fascinated by that it's what prompts her to stick around in the first place.

Also Angel can easily be tossed in the musebox here or play on sws and smutty. I'm on dreamwidth boards more often than LJ ones right now ^^

Sure, alright, we can do that. I haven't been playing him as much as I'd like to recently anyway, so that definitely works for me. Kinda makes sense, too, as he's surrounded by all of these items with such history, there's bound to be something supernatural that occurs.
