I've stepped away from RP for a long time due to commitments at work, and so I've lost all my RP partners. When I was getting the itch to start writing again, Natasha was who I picked back up (had her since Iron Man 2). I've been trying a few things on sws or throwing her up in bakerstreet but at the end of the day I'd prefer a lengthy exploration of characters with a shift towards shipping. And if things work out then there would be a chance to explore AUs, or anything that tickled our fancies.

Obviously with Bucky and Natasha it wouldn't be as it is in the comics to start with. Not with what Winter Soldier left us with. I know there would be a lot of work to get the two into more of a romantic situation but if anyone else is willing, I'm here.

As for Clint, obviously there was a launching point from the Avengers and also with Winter Soldier and Agents of SHIELD we now have a new landscape to explore in, how it might have affected the two of them if they had been involved at the time, or even if they were holding out.

I have a Clint here if you want him. :) I have the same problem with memes. They can be fun, but I'm more of a long term RPer. I love a good, drawn out plot that really delves into characters and their relationships!

I absolutely want him! Any ideas where you'd like to start exploring these two?

Oh man, there are just so many options! I love every version of these two at every point in their relationship, so if you have something in particular you're burning to play, lay it on me!

You're as bad as me so this is going to be awesome! I do want to get to the whole post-Winter Soldier/Agents of SHIELD fallout given there were in hints if Clint and what he was doing. I guess it's just if we want to back track and have them start something, or just jump right in and let it be established.

I didn't actually watch AoS but I'm sure I can find any info needed to pick up after that. I have played a bit of post TWS stuff and usually had it that Clint was on a mission when everything went to hell so he went into hiding until Natasha eventually found him, so if we could do something a little different than that that would be awesome.

As for the relationship status that's always a tough one because on one hand it's fun to play out the actual getting together part, but on the other I can't help but feel (wishful thinking? Probably) that they're already past that, you know? Of course there's always the in between option as well, where they're friends with benefits but haven't admitted to having any deeper feelings yet.

It's more just the stuff leading on from TWS and what it means for Coulson/SHIELD. Hm, well in my mind Natasha is obviously far from hiding so maybe she doesn't go straight to Clint because she's aware that she might lead HYDRA to him... Or maybe it's Clint that goes to her after she publicly outs herself at the hearing.

Actually I haven't properly played friends with benefits yet so I'd be interested in that avenue. And I think in the wake of events they'd find themselves thinking more about whether or not they want to admit to deeper feelings. I think Natasha had a bit of a breakthrough in TWS in that she is more willing to do things for herself, and to stop using her spy status as an excuse not to.

Huzzah! I think we're gonna get on just fine, hehe.

I like the idea of Clint coming for her. How about this: Clint is on a mission when all the bad shit goes down, and a few of his team members turn out to be HYDRA. He gets injured but gets away and sorta goes underground to heal up, but when the coast is clear he catches up, sees Natasha's press conference, and maybe even something about Avengers Tower and decides to look for her there? Plus there's the added angst of Natasha not knowing if Clint is even alive at this point.

And I think that all definitely works! The fall of SHIELD changed everything for them. All their secrets are now out, and their lives turned upside down, so they're going to have to reevaluate everything. Could lead to more revelations than they're prepared for.

Done deal. I like that idea. I can see that she might choose to stay somewhere covered by Stark tech and her own kind of SHIELD security. She's committed to the cause now so Avengers Tower males sense. And we get to throw in some good old fashioned hurt/comfort if he's injured.
