So, I'm throwing my Steve in the pool of other MCU muses here. It's been a long time since I've played him but after watching CA: TWS there's a lot I'd like to explore. I'm cool with lighter, less plot heavy stuff in bakerstreet but anything that requires lengthy replies and the like I'd rather do in journals. I do enjoy shipping but character and plot development comes first and foremost (and heads up I don't ship Steve with Bucky or Sam romantically). I do ship him with Sharon, Natasha, and Maria but those relationships could be platonic as well.

Going along with the few bits and pieces we've heard about Age of Ultron, I've got something that could work with either Natasha, Sam, or Maria ( or Sharon, Clint). I'm thinking Fury has uncovered something big (maybe to do with Wanda and Pietro) and he calls in Steve and whoever to help and the situation unravels from there (I don't like to do much planning since I like for my RPs to evolve organically as we write). There could also be some pre-CA: TWS stuff that could be done with Natasha or Maria.

I'm really open to a lot since I just want to write for Steve and develop him in ways that weren't shown in the movie. So, if you've got ideas then definitely let me know.

yo, i have a sharon carter here i'd love to play :'3 i do romantically ship sharon and steve (#1 marvel pairing yeahhhhh), but if that's not where our threads head towards then that's ok. i also have a howard stark and a thor odinson, if you're ever looking for wwii based threads or avengers type stuff.

I enjoyed their interaction in the movie even if it was brief so yeah I'm definitely here for having Steve interact with your Sharon. I've only got him posted in one meme, which is the we're stranded one that's up.

Also up for some Avenger stuff with Thor as well :)

yeah, i saw that. i wasn't going to tag that but, now that i think about it, it could be funny! (i'd have to think how and why sharon and steve are together in the first place but it'd be funny)

yay. the one thing i'm really looking forward to in aou is the steve + thor interaction. they're one of my favourite brotps.

They could be stranded from doing a quick mission together perhaps? That's really the only thing I can come up with at the moment.

Oh man I so wish Steve had been able to pick up Thor's hammer, that would've been awesome.

they could have a similar arrangement to what their comic book counterparts had: sharon is the cia liaison to the avengers (captain america specifically) and so they have to occasionally rub shoulders. (but lbr though, their interactions will never be as weird, awkward, or hilarious as their 616 counterpart's first interactions.)

hey, he was able to move it a little bit! that's p. impressive. i hope that steve will be able to use it in avengers 3 (uh, if cevans signs on for that long that is).

I'm not familiar with the comics so I don't know anything about their relationship in 616. I do like the idea of her being his CIA liaison, though.

There are theories that Steve will be killed off and Bucky will replace him as Cap at some point but who knows. I will be crushed if that happens, though.

ok let me just tell you something about their early relationship real quick (cos it's really funny and exemplifies how much of a loser he is): steve asked sharon to marry him when he only knew three things about her: her codename (not her real name, just her codename), the fact that she worked for s.h.i.e.l.d., and that she reminded him of this girl he fell in love with during the war (aka peggy carter but he didn't know her name either).

i figure it'll happen sooner or later (as it did in comics). but i'm hoping it doesn't happen until after avengers 3. if the original cast can stay on until avengers 3, then i'll be a happy camper.

Steve is such a damn goofball lol. He obviously won't be doing that in the movie!verse all things considered. They really should've had more screen time together.

Yeah I need them to at least wait until Avengers 3.

a loser, that's what steve is. i can imagine websites in the mcu dedicated entirely to steve rogers acting as a goober. the comments are basically, "#I'M GLAD HE'S CAPTAIN OF OUR COUNTRY" yeah, steve and sharon really should've had more screen time together. really, i think sharon should've had more screen time. hopefully she gets more screen time in cap 3, and that her reveal as peggy's ~~niece~~ ~~great niece~~ ~~granddaughter~~ ~~???~~ relative is emotional, dramatic, and funny as hell

yeah afterwards they can get replaced by different actors, a la james bond.
