la_bandette: Bandette is very smart, but not very modest. (genius!)

[community profile] nexus_sages is a very low-key, freeform panfandom game. We're goofy, we're weird, and if you're lucky you'll get to see Groot throw somebody into a fountain because they're on fire. We're also just getting started, so if you join now you can get to help shape the community and be part of establishing (read: enabling) just how crazy we get. And it's all for the low, low price of being totally awesome!

[[LOL~ @ "if you're lucky you'll get to see Groot throw somebody into a fountain because they're on fire"! xD <333 I mean, seriously: I LOVED THAT SCENE, so very much so that I didn't even want to interrupt it in order to use an Aquamenti spell upon the poor bastard on fire.... LMAO!

I mean, maybe I should advertise for the small handful of Harry Potter chars who have made their way to DW here...? ; ) What do you think, darling?

ALSO: I just want to ask where I can FIND these Bandette comics, like, online or something? So I can expand them on my screen for my legally blind arse? xD <33 I mean, I really seriously love this girl you're playing, ever since seeing her in a thread with "Doc" Holliday on WWW! =) ]]

Sorry to butt in here, Comixology has Bandette in digital form and they are pretty cheap compared to other comics on the market, like $1.99 or $.99 if memory serves. I also know the digital comic reader there has zoom in features.

OMG you're SO RIGHT! xD <333 Ta very much for "butting in" to this conversation... =D <33333 Seriously, though: I already have the first two volumes of Bandette in my hot little mitts (aka, my hard drive! LOL!) and thus... Thank you AGAIN! Because this is damned awesome!

(You know, OP, I bet that Bandette and Maria, here, would get along fabulously! ; ) <3 I'll have to throw out some sort of introduction for this Potter-verse witch soon-ish....

Glad to be of service. = ]

I do all my comic shopping there as I just don't have the physical space anymore for the printed comic.

Aww, there are actual prose bits to this comic? Do you mean: other than Bandette's AWESOME narration of her heists? xD <3 No, I'm afraid I haven't run across any of those, yet, but -- hey: I only had a dollar left on my damned Visa gift card (for the purposes of controlling my SPENDING online, you understand? ; ) ) and of course, I need to wait a bit to make a move out for another card... Anyway, point is: I don't have any but the first two comics so far... xD <333

And as for Bandette: oh aye, I'm sure she does, in fact! xD <333 I mean, it'll be the PERFECT team, really: a damned clever French thief, and an equally clever little French-British/dual citizenship Auror who absolutely loathes Mr Crouch's "Fight fire with fire" methods, and would probably approve of thieving from him should he ever show up in the Nexus.... LMAO!

Bandette! Sorry, I don't have much more to say beyond that.

I might also suggest The Double Life of Miranda Turner, as well. Similar art and tone. =)
