So, I've got this AU in which Alex Murphy's kid has grown up to pursue a career based in cybernetics -- for various reasons obviously stemming from experiences he had with his dad. Who I'm guessing was more or less absentee after his enhancements. A father-son team up with some angsting and shooting stuff would be ideal.
But other characters who'd fit into a gritty futuristic setting would be awesome, too.

I was actually inspired to make this journal by that cheesy miniseries, Robocop: Prime Directives, which has Murphy Jr become an executive at OCP. So, I'm definitely open to working with the original film as backdrop. I'd need to do a rewatch, and we'd need to maybe finagle some kinda interaction between dad and son while son's underage to keep David's motivations for going into tech intact -- but yeah. Open to the original, absolutely.
