I've been voicetesting the Cardinal here and there. But I have some ideas I'd really like to thread out:

1) All that lushness that could happen between the Cardinal, Queen Anne and King Louis when the Cardinal has figured out that there may be question about the legitimacy of the Queen's child and all the blackmailing that can go on between the three, since the King sort of DID ask the Cardinal to kill Anne.

1a) All that lushness that can happen between the Cardinal and the Musketeers for the above reasons.

2) An AU where the Cardinal didn't die - was only presumed dead. And all of S2 happened as in the show. The Cardinal returns to the Musketeers gratitude because who knew things could be WORSE than the Cardinal??? (Then of course, Richelieu has to fix everything that Rochefort screwed up.)

3) An AU where the Cardinal and Rochefort have to interact somehow. (The Cardinal wishes him deposed, of course.)

4) ??? I'm open to ideas

I'd love to play with your number 2 or 3 with Armand and Milady. She's got a bit back of a backbone and has started working with the Musketeers, to a degree.. although she's currently out of the country and in England (as far as we know)... recall her home to France, Armand, for everyone's good... well, and some not so good things too.

I would be down for that. She would, unfortunately have to prove herself for him to recall her. Otherwise, he's just as likely to kill her himself. (It's nothing personal, as with Adele, he just can't trust her now.)

But yes... I'd be quite open to playing this out.

That makes perfect sense considering it's the Cardinal. The her having to prove herself bit I mean. (He can try, but she's not the type of woman to just call out the name of the man she loves and loathes with equal amounts of passion as she's being killed. She'd try to kill him right back..)

Maybe she could set up the Duke of Buckingham to look like a French spy or something? Idk..

Sorry, I am sick, so I'm not sure I'm making a whole lot of sense right now. Also my plot-coming-up-with-ness is down quite a bit right now because of being sick.

(Well, the Cardinal is the type to usually have someone else do the killing for him, so he'd be quite safe from her XD)

I'm sorry you're sick! But this is a good start. I'll try to come up with a starter either in a meme or in his journal and link it to you :D
