So if you're like me, you're crazy excited about this class order hall stuff coming out in Legion. Legendary artifact weapons! Awesome titles! Fancy feats of heroism! The trouble is that, well, in-game, it's awfully bad form to RP that your character is the real Archmage or Highlord or High Priestess or what have you, when everyone's doing those same quests and getting those same legendary weapons.

But there's no reason we can't play that stuff out on DW, is there? Hell no! I'd love to find other people to RP out the storyline of Legion with, class fantasy stuff included. If enough people are into the idea, we could even make up a comm for Legion RP. Any takers? Would-be Archdruids or Farseers or Grand Masters?

UH basically I've played Arthas in a game for six years and I'd like to see how different Legion would be if that version of him was recalled when Frostmourne got reforged.

I also have... a Forsaken shadow priest OC that vehemently wants nothing to do with the creepy Old God blade. if that helps.

That sounds really cool and like a fascinating idea, though a bit intimidating from an RP perspective for Simon. I don't know what this poor used-to-be-a-guard-in-a-level-16-questing-area guy would do when face to face with any iteration of the Lich King, but it could be cool to find out!

I would love to thread with a shadow priest, too! Because I feel you, spriest. I have one too and am not sure why exactly they decided to give our lore to the disc priests and make us batshit servants of the Old Gods, but I'll make the best of it.

Simon's just backing away, crossing himself, as I remind him that that's not a thing on Azeroth. We'll work on it. How do you think Simon would be likely to encounter Arthas in this AU, if we threaded them?

Would Emilia be fighting at any of the Legion invasions? That would always be a convenient faction-neutral meeting place if Simon were to run into her, and it would make him ever so slightly less hostile. Probably. Maybe not if they were in Hillsbrad. But anywhere else, he'd be something resembling civil.

Awesome! It would totally be for playing out anything you'd want to in the setting of Legion. What all would Larkspur be up to?

Trying to unravel what the hell is going on with the renascent Lich King and why it's driven the Ebon Blade (apparently) crazy. Although that may change as we actually get into Legion and I do the order quests on him so I can see it for myself.

But from what I've gathered, things are happening that Lark would vehemently oppose. (He's not very good at the "death" part of death knight. Better at the "knight" bit.)

I haven't played through the DK stuff on beta and I've mostly been avoiding the paladin stuff too to keep it a surprise, but from what I do know, it seems like the two stories will have a lot of really cool intersection, or at least could be RPed as such. And I've always wanted Simon to meet a death knight who would challenge his preconceptions of them. Would you want to thread them at some point?

Yes, that's what I've heard as well, though I've been mostly trying to wait to play through them myself. (It's hard to wait, though. It's so hard to wait.)

I'd be delighted to thread! (Even outside the Legion stuff, if you're interested. Lark and Simon look like they'd be great foils for each other. :D)
