I'm pretty open. So far, i've got like 3 time lines as my go-tos.

1. AU to the third movie, where we pretend that didn't happen and the movies made sense.
2. Post Brotherhood - Still AU to X3.
3. Always an X-Men - where he didn't leave because someone retrieved him.

So are you thinking a Brotherhood Kitty or something else naughty?

I think maybe Brotherhood Kitty. Her grandfather survived the Holocaust, so I'm sure Magneto would like her even without her having the most useful power there is. I'm tossing around the idea in my head that she left the mansion because of the Bobby/Rogue love triangle, but I'm getting massive eyerolls from Kitty on that. Maybe she leaves just to take a break from being where everything reminds her of those that are dead, and John is tasked with recruiting her into the Brotherhood?
