I'm pretty easy-going and open to all sorts of plotting, so don't be shy to share your ideas, too! Chances are I'll be into them. I am ridiculously easily enabled, after all.

* The sports star and the reporter.

* Surprise! You're a dad!

* TA and student.

* Professor and student.

* The undercover cop and the stripper.

* What is supposed to be a short term vacation romance turns into more.

hello! So I'd be up for a lot of these ideas. My muselist is here and I'd be up for throwing in any of my canon/original characters that take your fancy, or coming up with new original ones just for these shenanigans.

I'm glad that you like some of my dumb ideas, haha! The hardest choice is going to picking from the shorter list because you've chosen some of my faves. I checked out your muse list, and I know I've seen some of 'em on Bakerstreet, even though we've never played together.

When given the opportunity, I'm gonna say yesssss create a new muse (that's probably why I have so many oc's womp womp). Diego Luna is always going to be my #1 choice to play against, but I'm also perfectly willing to hear alternate suggestions if he's not your cup of tea.

I'm more than happy to pick up somebody new! Best way to get the exact right sort of person... I'm also addicted to new characters so this is fairly predictable for me lol

I am cool with Diego Luna! He has good face. Are there any other details you would be looking for in terms of personality type and that kind of thing?

What are your favourites from the shorter list? We can whittle it down a little to at least a couple, and then if we get a good character dynamic going we can always do others later

I just love OC's. You can make them anyone you want them to be, you can put them anywhere. I just love them all so much!

Yes, Diego has a great face. I'm totally not obsessed with it in the slightest. Definitely not me. Nope. The bad thing is that most ppl stopped iconning him somewhere before like 2010, and there are so many better photoshoots to choose from now. I had to make my own icons, and I do not do icons, so they all suck. But you can find some at thehollowedartists on Tumblr that are not awful.

Hmm. Since he's gonna be your dude, I don't want to dictate too much about his personality. If I'm going with the Grace is divorced backstory, she'll definitely warm up to someone who isn't dismissive or disinterested. Sarcasm is a bonus, but really, the only thing she'll be looking for is for someone that's genuinely nice. Nice doesn't have to mean boring, so however you interpret that is fine by me.

In terms of plot ideas, the ones I like slightly more than others:
Widow / widower and the coach / teacher, jilted wedding guests who find a way to have fun together, one night stand and then comes a baby., or the witch and their familiar.

What are your top picks? (And yes, I'm all for multiples later on if we're having fun!)

A drink or two, some dancing and flirting, I can definitely see her thinking that going home with him for a night is no big deal. They exchange phone numbers, but she never calls or texts because she's convinced he's not even gonna remember her.

Cut to some weeks later and SURPRISE it's kind of a bit of maybe a big deal now.

I sort of like the idea that he wanted to call her but lost her number somehow, like he got a new phone or he had it written down and lost it or some other stupid coincidence, so he's sort of kicking himself, and then she calls and he's all YEY-oh wait shit.

I love all of the ideas (obvs, since I came up with them lol) and I think they can be combined easily.

or long distance + surprise you're a dad

I have to say, I have a great fondness for the latter, but I'm totally up for discussion otherwise.

What about with all three of them? The B&B doesn't really need to be the plot line, but maybe just it was just the "how they met" part of the equation. The big deal, of course, is having the baby! Here's my scattered tentative thoughts:

Nico's a paramedic, right? So maybe he was on a business trip for his job. The hotel that the city put him up in turned out not to be free (big medical convention in town + new hotel staff = oops), so he looks around and finds Addy's family's B&B. He stays there. They meet. A time later she finds out she's pregnant, but he's not in the same city, so it makes things complicated in all kinds of angst we could play out. And there's so much fluffy fun to write out too!

Well, I actually hadn't thought about it that way, honestly, but I like it. I'm all for a little angst + fluff (with some smut thrown in). He would definitely feel angsty about not being there all the time, but makes the effort to be with her as much as he could. And throw in the aspect of their growing feelings and I'm all for it.

I feel like she would put in some effort to come to him, too. Since he probably has doctor connections, so she'd want to take advantage of what she could. And it's just an excuse to see him, too. (Who wouldn't want that!)

When do you want to start it? Timeline wise. We could start it at their first meeting, or start already in. We could backtag that, too. I am game at starting at any point! Your choice. :)

Yes, absolutely! And he's definitely the kind of guy that wants to be there for the big moments, like the ultrasound, so even though it's long-distance at first, he never complains about making the trip. It's so worth it for him.

Oh, I'm good with beginning anywhere. We could start at the beginning if we make it a PSL thing, or if there's a relevant meme, just start from there. I'M EASY. (Also going to bed right now, but I'll be back later.)
