Welcome back to Hawkins, for a low pressure gpsl focused on character interactions.
For our purposes, Vecna was assumed to have been destroyed or retreated for good in 1986. After the massive earthquake ripped through town, the residents did their best to rebuild. All is quiet for years...
It is now 1994. Most ignored the tenth anniversary of the day Will Byers vanished, but townspeople long presumed dead gradually reappeared in Hawkins. News travelled fast, and former residents returned in case their loved ones arrived, eager to accept any flimsy explanation as rational.
A small group of residents know this may be even stranger and more dangerous than it seems, but they are not immune to the draw of seeing their family and friends again...
