Ok, I'm doing the application now, but I don't know how to tell if the version of Earth in WALL-E is covered by mist or not. How do I tell that?

As far as Wall-E goes, it depends on your canon point. We do have an AU, so maybe instead of the ship leaving Earth because of pollution, it's leaving because of the Mist. Eve could be sent down to return to the ship once she has proof that Earth is safe to return to. She can have similar canon events with Wall-E, perhaps in a town that was obliterated by the Mist. Just a suggestion!

We understand that it can be a bit tricky to wrap one's head around, but luckily, AUs provide a little leeway. As long as you keep her personality intact and any crucial bits are accounted for (ex. Eve having her directive and following it), you should be all good. :)
