A HALLOWEENISH REQUEST! Of sorts. for horror characters.
Your Muse: Det. Mark Hoffman.
Muse wanted: Amanda Young, John Kramer, Allison Kerry, Daniel Rigg, Eric Matthews, Jill Tuck, Lawrence Gordon, any victims.
Community:ryansgulch mainly (Also potentially lastvoyages for Allison Kerry, Rigg,Gordon, Daniel, and Eric. No Amanda Young Please. She's already at last voyages and she's amazeballs. )
Fandom: SAW Film Series [That'd be films 1-7, IE films that are halfway good (1-3) and films that are not so good IV-VII)
Canon or AU: Canon (Given how much of a trainwreck the series is I pretty much bet that any canon come up with would most likely be acceptable as actual canon.

So I'll be honest. In a fit of snappish mad I posted to an anoncomm bemoaning my lack of shipping and got some people responding. A lot of people seemed surprised, but I figure what the hell I will give this a shot.. Folks. My name is Ramen and I'm looking for SAW characters which hopefully might be easier then originally thought because Halloween is right around the corner. And so.
Here's the thing. As far as horror films go, the SAW series sucks. I say this as a player who is comfortable with playing in this particular rp universe because it's okay it sucks we as gamers can try and fix it. I have been playing across from the most amazing Amanda Young in TLV, and after apping Hoffman to Ryans Gulch...I want more.

Amanda Young ~ Given the Amanda Young that we see in canon is this dedicated to a cause acolyte who was saved by John Kramer from a life of drug addiction and thrust into a life of...torture addiction Amanda in rapture would be amazing. Hoffman will be there living the high life (and probably eventually splicing the hell out of himself) but having Amanda to snark at and the added Jigsaw Philosophy in the place would be amazing.
John Kramer~ Madman, Christ Figure, cancer patient, Amanda and Hoffman's mentor, just what would he do in rapture? They'd cure his cancer but what then? Bros with Sophia Lamb? Generally awesome? teaching rapture-ites and castmates to cherish their livs?
No John Kramer for TLV please both Hoffman and Amanda have had serious dilemmas around that point and it would just be way too breaky for both of us.
Jill Tuck~ John's wife, Doctor, nurturer, friend. She's probably the sanest out of the Jigsaw crew and the one who gets the rawest deal. she needs to come to rapture to minister to the sick and wounded and her husband and just generally be a voice of morality and reason for everybody concerned.
Lawrence Gordon Guy from the first film. Princess Bride star. Cut off his own food and ultimately ended up a Jigsaw apprentice. Hoffman's murderer. Excellent antagonistic times are go? He'd be a good fit at both the gulch and TLV, especially under Rapture's less then legal medical practiecs.
And now we get into my personal wants. Be warned I may beg.
Allison Kerry Wanted for shipping purposes and not shipping purposes (open to both, prefer the former but open to both with discussion) she's a bad ass lady cop with street smart intelligence plus she's played by Dina Meyer. She played Barbara Gordon on birds of prey. She also played AJ in Starship Troopers. She's just generally cool and her character is pretty darn cool and while I have a headvoice for her...I just want to thread cops off my guy seriously. Either here or at TLV. My love for this character knows no bounds I will write fic, draw porn, find a better job to buy this character a paid account that is how badly I want someone to play her.
Eric Matthews Honestly the second most likely character to be played? He's a Wahlberg (who doesn't love wahlbergs?) guy with anger management issues and general feelings. He's also kind of a douche, but he's got a kid and deep down I bet it's anger management and I don't care I just want him either at the gulch or at TLV so that my guy's not all by his lonesome. Survives four movies gets his head crushed by blocks of ice. Seriously how cool would that be? So damn cool. Plus a bad ass.
Daniel Rigg AUGH. Most underrated character, protagonist for four, Hoffman's best friend. Plus he's SWAT. Plus he's bad ass. Plus I have a lot of other reasons for wanting to play him but he was most likely to be recruited into the next Jigsaw apprentice (or at least Hoffman's apprentice) and seeing him in TLV or in any other game (the gulch the gulch the gulllch) would be amazing. he and Hoffman have so much history together and just to sit and work it out would be brilliant and beautiful. Plus there's an alternate ending I could show you guys and it would generally be bamf and if there were an Eric and a Kerry...
Hoffman just needs his friends man. I'd love to see any of these three at TLV or Ryan's Gulch..
Any other victims/cops Okay see a lot of people might call SAW torture porn, but the misnomer is easy to mistake. TBQH the series only ends up torture porn and goreporn from V through VII. (I'll argue for IV trying to be like 1-3) the rest of it is just-human relationships. Honestly? Lionsgate tried to do too much. They tried to make it scary and ended up warping Jigsaw's story just like Hoffman warped his philosophy. All of these characters have backstories and are in essence human. That's part of what makes them so scary. The only character who comes remotely close to sympathetic is Amanda (and Hoffman for people who like Costas) but that's what RP is for. To stick Rigg and Kerry and Matthews and Gibson anda ll the other cops together and find out just what makes them tick (and perhaps indicate why John wanted all of them dead)
I'm pretty sure if I dig deep I can find a John or an Amanda (for the gulch, not for TLV) but I'd love to see some of these other guys take shape outside of mine (or my TLV partner's) imaginations. It's Halloween, time to dig out the creepy and scary puppets and who better (for fans) then Jill, Gordon, Eric, kerry, and Rigg.
Please guys. I can't be the only person who likes or is willing to play from this series. D:
