In this universe, both Alphas and their mates are able to carry children. A detail which Derek neglected to inform Isaac of before they got together. Now Isaac is right around one month pregnant, and he and Derek are wrapping their heads around the idea of a family.
For wolf packs, puppy time is the best time! Packs come together to help take care of the mother (or -- Isaac) and get the den (or the Hale House) ready for the cubs. We'd love to have some pack to help Isaac and Derek out with things.
And because he's a potato, we were thinking Scott was the one who blurted the news to everyone before Isaac and Derek figured out how to tell the rest of the pack. But we're flexible on that.
