Hello! I'm a veteran RPer looking for someone to play the Blaine Anderson in a private, one-on-one RP with my Kurt Hummel. I'm generally interested in sticking to canon, but am open for discussing other potential plots or AUs. I'm comfortable RPing all ratings levels (all of my RP experience comes from playing PG - NC-17) so I'm well versed in just about everything. Please contact me if interested!

Well, this is definitely late, and though I've been around the RP scene for a good long while, I'm relatively new to playing Blaine. If that's a deal-breaker, that's totally okay.

I'm in the "exploratory" phase, if that makes sense. I've wanted to play him for a long time, but never got around to it. I'm not a really great smut writer (it just comes naturally to some people, I think), and I'm not sure if my comfort level goes as far as NC-17, but I'm open to discussion, at least.

All of this to say, I'm interested, and I hope this isn't too late.

That is all totally cool with me. I've only been playing Kurt since, uh, April? So I haven't been around for ages or anything, hee. I've generally tended to get NC-17 with things, but I don't HAVE to go there. I'd love to give it a shot and just see where it goes. I promise not to get extra porn-y on you all the sudden, hee. And we don't have to go there at all, if you'd rather not. I'm happy with whatever. :)

So I ended up reappropriating this journal (dreamformyself) for an AU RP I'm doing elsewhere... would you mind terribly if I confused you by creating another one? You don't happen to also be on LJ, do you? I'm down with either platform, really. If you want to stay here, just say the word and I'll put another journal together quickly and add you with that one. Sound okay?

Well, that's good. :) Blaine's been clamoring pretty loudly to get out and do things, haha.

About NC-17 things, I don't mind, and I won't get squicked by them, but I guess the best way to put it is that I haven't written very much of this sort of thing. The times that I have, it's been fairly tame. But yes, I'm all for trying it out and seeing where it ends up. :)

And as for platforms, I haven't used LJ since they started changing things over there. So if you don't mind, and if it's not a terrible inconvenience, I'm happy with staying on DW.

Commenting here is great! It took me a minute to recognize which song you were referencing, which is probably bad, considering how much I like Wicked.

I've also subscribed/granted access to you, so we're all good there. :3 As for plotting, I'm super open to anything, although I should warn you now, I'm not 100% sure I'm fond of the developments we're getting from season 4.

What do you think? It seems to me that recent episodes have more or less been a trainwreck, making me miss the earlier days before things got complicated.

For Good is one of the songs I've had to sing a bunch in my voice lessons, so I know the lyrics backward and forward. Seemed like a reasonable journal name, hee.

Yeah, I'm not really thrilled either. I have a canon Kurt that I started before I knew all of this was going down, and me and the Blaine I RP with had to break out and do an AU because we couldn't cope with the angst anymore. That's what I ended up using the dreamformyself journal for, actually, heh.

So, what about doing canon season 3? Or even season 2? Or just ignore canon entirely, either all together or starting at a break point?

I keep waiting for them to resolve it somehow, because wow, that is a lot of angst. But on the other hand, I'm almost glad they haven't been like, "Oh, okay, they break up and then five seconds later get back together." They've done that before with other plotlines and it's just not really believable.

No, I agree. It would be a lot easier to watch this arc if we didn't have to wait so long for the completion of it. The big breaks make the season take forever. They've only been broken up for four episodes, but it's been almost two and a half months in real time.

Okay! Do you just want to drop them into the middle of that season and see what happens, or go off certain episodes, or something else?

Anyway, yeah, I wish there weren't so many big breaks in between. I'd forgotten that it really hasn't been that long episode-wise that they've been broken up.

I was kind of thinking maybe going off The First Time would be interesting, but if you have something else in mind, or you'd rather just drop them into the middle of the season, that's cool too.

I'm sure it will be! Besides, busy days are way better than slow ones anyway.

I just really like the idea of that episode, for obvious reasons, and besides, for the most part, the two of them are pretty happy with each other. XD I think starting after the episode would be a good place to begin. It would give us a nice foundation to build on.

Question, just because I'm curious: do you prefer to write in third person prose (with quotes) or first person with actions? Also, past or present tense? I'm good with whatever, I just wanted to see what you liked.

I don't really prefer one over the other, third person or first person. I tend to automatically go for past tense, but I can easily switch that around. So, uh, why don't we go for first person with past tense for now, and if that doesn't work, we can always change it up. :D

Also you can start us off if you'd like.
