hello~. so i have this bbc sherlock au based on this picture, where james moriarty is a consulting detective and molly hooper is his flatmate/blogger, and sherlock holmes is a consulting criminal and john watson is his sniper. i'm not looking for any long-time commitments, just some threads/psls here and there (i know how busy people can be). besides molly, sherlock, and john, i'm also looking for lestrade, irene, and mycroft (perhaps?). i'd love to explore how this universe would differ from the original one (since james is a little more forthcoming with his emotions and not as cold, maybe more people would like him? who knows?).

but, hey, even if you aren't from the bbc sherlock universe, i'd be more than happy to thread with you if you're alright with some voice-testing. just lemme know~. i'm ridiculously easy to please.

Oh, no worries! I just don't have a DW journal. I've played Mycroft before and John, but I could try myself at another if need be. Either way, I'd love to try my hand at this AU. :D

i don't know how mycroft would fit into all this (but we could figure it out), but i'd love to have a mycroft. and/or a john too! if you don't want john to be evil, he could be jim's flatmate/blogger. i have different options for the flatmate/blogger situation.

If you ever fancy doing a thread, I'd be happy to have a play around. I always enjoyed playing Sherlock a bit darker and being a consulting criminal sounds quite amusing. I also have a Moran knocking around somewhere as well.

oh yes please~. to both of them. i'm okay with whatever headcanon/reason why sherlock's a criminal, but, for jim, i put that since he didn't kill carl powers the roles got loopy.

and i'd love to have a moran too. if not for a flatmate/blogger, but maybe in a mycroft sort of role? (pushing cases onto jim and giving them access to top secret military bases?)

I always imagined Sherlock's boredom could easily push him over the edge and his somewhat detached views on people would make it fairly easy for him to walk over them or do away with them. I can easily see him killing his boredom through playing games with people in his own way.

Oh that's rather ingenious, I never would of pictures him in a Mycrort role but the more I think about it, the more it kind of fits. Especially if he perhaps didn't completely ruin his military career. I'm sure someone who went to Eton and Oxford has his foot in the door of a few useful places.

The closest thing he has to an outlet is either deduction or his violin. And neither keep him focused or grounded, not really.

Oh I know, I've been a part of several XD And yes, I imagine someone who was such a crack shot and had such intelligence would probably be able to secure himself a nice higher up position in the military. And he needs something to do other than the average (not including tiger hunting).

anyways, i love you for wanting to do this. i think you'd have to tweak molly's background a little for james to ask her to be his flatmate then drag her along to crime scenes. you don't have to, but i think james require a little more than being adorable and loving cats to be his flatmate XD i'd love to thread with you either way.

Well, yeah, since it's a different universe I figured a few things would have to be different. I'm trying to work that out now, might need a day or two to brainstorm.

What's James' personality like?

i read a fanfic where molly's background was changed; where she joined the army and went to afghanistan.

uh, i'm still kind of working james' personality out. so far, he's a smartass and he sort of treats his flatmates like sherlock does. but, everyone likes him a little more; mainly because he has a little more tact because he's spent more time around people than sherlock did. clearly, he's a work in progress.
