invoria
"Invoria" is a fantasy based rp verse where modern characters get "pulled" or "sent" into the land of Invoria by whatever means, presumably to complete a quest, learn a lesson, ect. and have adventures with other transplanted folk or hang out with the natives. There is magic, dragons that sell greeting cards, wizards who smoke pot, and dwarves that crochet. Invoria is what you make of it, after all.
All characters (if they wish) are part of the standard tabletop role-playing classes (no, you don't have to be a tabletop player to play in the verse, lol): mage (wizards, sorcerers, ect), warriors (folks who bang around with swords and shields), rogues (sneaky bastards who steal shit and lie like pros) and clerics (goody two-shoes who can smite the fuck out of an undead with righteous divination, bishes). There are also cross classes, too, but for the most part, those four are what most would fall into.
Characters have the option of being from the "modern world", IE Earth in present day, or be a native of Invoria itself (think King Arthur meets Lord of the Rings). Mun's choice as to which. As of now, Christine is a transplant (or "Stranger", as the natives call it) from the modern world who was given the gift of magic upon her arrival in Invoria. Jake Hayes is also from the modern world and was given a real sword when he arrived and is considered a warrior. Cynric is an Invoria native, and considered part of the bard class. And yadda yadda.
Looking forward to hopefully playing with some new folks! Questions, comments always welcomed. And Happy New Year!

So so so. So. Can Cynric pick Mira up in the next town and never let her go again.
no subject
Also right now Mira in my head is complaining because he has not picked her up already :| So yes he'd better get on it if he doesn't want her to beat him up again.

I haven't been able to access my LJ journal since I replied to your MMW post the other day so I yielded and made a journal here.
I still need to upload more userpics etc. (which I don't have time for right now) but I wanted to let you know I'm still interested in this verse. I'd like to have a thread where Christine and Ophelia meet the first time.
I'll go and join your comm, too.

We'll be glad to have you! Christine has a SWS post up: here, feel free to give it a look-see. Comm is approved and hopefully now that I'm home I'll be able to add some info and junk. :D

Do you think I have accidentally done something to my journal's settings or is that just something that's different here at DW? I'm so used to getting all messages to my inbox :).
Anyway, I'm not sure how to reply to that post... Can I assume they've just met and Ophelia has promised to show her the way to the nearest village?
no subject
Sure! Whatever works for the post, I can usually run with. Maybe Christine has somehow "lost" Cynric (or he's vanished for a day or so of peace and quiet, lolol) and Christine's been stumbling around lost, ect.
no subject
Kind of contrary, uh?
Alright, we'll go with Christine having lost Mr. Cynric for a bit :). I'll probably only manage a tag or two today but will continue tomorrow.

No hurry! I'm all for backtagging and having threads going for however long. :)

Do you get them, though? Maybe because you have a paid account?
Well, good night for now!
