invoria
"Invoria" is a fantasy based rp verse where modern characters get "pulled" or "sent" into the land of Invoria by whatever means, presumably to complete a quest, learn a lesson, ect. and have adventures with other transplanted folk or hang out with the natives. There is magic, dragons that sell greeting cards, wizards who smoke pot, and dwarves that crochet. Invoria is what you make of it, after all.
All characters (if they wish) are part of the standard tabletop role-playing classes (no, you don't have to be a tabletop player to play in the verse, lol): mage (wizards, sorcerers, ect), warriors (folks who bang around with swords and shields), rogues (sneaky bastards who steal shit and lie like pros) and clerics (goody two-shoes who can smite the fuck out of an undead with righteous divination, bishes). There are also cross classes, too, but for the most part, those four are what most would fall into.
Characters have the option of being from the "modern world", IE Earth in present day, or be a native of Invoria itself (think King Arthur meets Lord of the Rings). Mun's choice as to which. As of now, Christine is a transplant (or "Stranger", as the natives call it) from the modern world who was given the gift of magic upon her arrival in Invoria. Jake Hayes is also from the modern world and was given a real sword when he arrived and is considered a warrior. Cynric is an Invoria native, and considered part of the bard class. And yadda yadda.
Looking forward to hopefully playing with some new folks! Questions, comments always welcomed. And Happy New Year!
