So, the basic extent of this verse is this;
In Charlie's canon, her ability comes from an experiment done by a group lovingly nicknamed 'The Shop'. They're chronic fuck-ups. They're the USDSI (United States Department of Scientific Intelligence) and after years of not getting a thing right, they were disbanded. This was shortly after one final attempt to reclaim Charlie from where she'd been happily living with the Manders. She fled to Alaska after a final showdown and was found by Fury. Fury feels she'd be vital to the Avengers. He also feels she's dangerous and has decided to keep an eye on her.
She's been stuffed in a safe-house with Peter Parker, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, Clint Barton, Pepper Potts and for the most part, her life is normal save for moments when it's entirely reminiscent of an episode of the Osbornes. She's...adjusting to her life. She and Peter have a relationship that is progressing slowly. They're currently just friends and she's been 'adopted' by Barton as younger sibling. We would not say no to the above three also joining in on the fun and trying to convince Charlie she'd be a welcome member since she's currently the only non-Avenger in the building. A building which Tony Stark purchased, renovated with rooms for everyone and is probably fireproof, all things considered.
