I prefer to have Sharon in action threads; it helps that she isn't particularly good at romantic relationships. The mission comes first for her, and although she may care about people, she won't put them above the mission.
For MCU, I tend to play her as a newer agent who doesn't actually like Steve much. She feels that he's slighted and hurt her aunt and actually tends to butt heads with him a bit.
I'd love for any Marvel characters, especially a Fury or a Dugan. My kingdom for a Steve, my horse for a Natasha for kicking-ass purposes.
