The game is a sci-fi setting, taking place primarily on a space station (but it does go planetside from time to time). Powers are zero-ed upon arrival, HOWEVER, characters can regain their powers back through the game mechanic point system. AC is one or two instances of play per month, but additional activity will earn your character points, and points gets your character their powers back or items from home.

I know that Harry Potter in space sounds far-fetched, but it works.
