There seems to be very few Middle Earth muses floating around, so I – sadly – have had a lot of my hope already stomped out sob, but! I'm open to being proven wrong. So please, come out come out wherever you are~

I've been spamming Bakerstreet mostly (and by mostly, I mean from last night, because I've only just reappeared on DW lol), but I'm totally open to PSL. I'm not particularly shippy with Bilbo it feels kind of sinful to shove such a squishy dork in any romantic direction but I'm also a huge sucker for writing romance... so it's kind of a weird place to be. To ship or not to ship, that is the question. In short, I'm saying that I'm not deadset with any notion. I'm just looking for people to play with; the specifics of what that entails can be figured out together?

I used to be a part of a Lord of the Rings RP waay back in the day - like, when the movies came out, so practically ancient - and I just love your Bilbo. I am seriously considering picking up a muse or two from there again, I did enjoy it a lot. I was playing Elrond back then, but I might try something new this time.

Bwahaha, yes! My real dilemma at this point is deciding on who I want to play and also feel somewhat capable of doing well. I shamelessly love elves, but a dwarf would certainly be interesting, too. I am not too proud to admit that I rather liked dwarves before, and then the Hobbit movies totally sold me on them. And that would get on well with Bilbo, too. :D

Elves are pretty dang awesome.

BUT DWARVES. YES. YEEEEEEEEEEEES. ahem. Dwarves. My Bilbs' life is severely lacking in the dwarves department. So I'm shamelessly hoping for that to change. Soon. Right now omg.

BUT REALLY. Whoever you want to try. As much as I love me some dwarves, anyone from Middle Earth is more than perfect. It's so hard to find anyone for Bilbs to play with ; ;

I need to do a bit of canon review and then see what draws me in. And then the icons. I will need aaaaallll of the icons!

Incidentally, which particular ones do you think would have the most entertaining interactions with Bilbo? I'm just curious, I know any would be great, but if I'm sitting on the fence over a few, an outside opinion would help me. :3

I really hope that more people hop on the Middle Earth train with us! It would be great to have a crew again. For what it's worth, it seems like I've seen several Silmarillion elves hanging around someplace or another, so I would not be surprised if more characters started to pop up.

I'm more partial to the “popular” ones, aka the ones that had actual screen time. Fili, Kili, Thorin, Bofur, Dwalin, Balin, Gimli He doesn't have built in CR with Bilbo of course, but he's awesome. I love all the dwarves of the Company, but obviously, with more screen time, there's more time to become attached, ha.

I miss the Middle Earth crew. It never seemed especially large, but there were enough of us that it wasn't some impossible task to find each other to tag. I've been seeing Silmarillion elves too, yeah. Which is awesome. Just... I know nothing about the Silmarillion, lol. So I always feel like a dork trying to tag. I mean, I'm already a little hazy on Middle Earth facts because I'm more of a movies gal, so anything not in the Third Age...

I HAVE read the LOTR books and the Hobbit but.

So sorry I didn't reply with this sooner! I got dragged off to a con this past weekend, I was not expecting to go. ^^;;

Anyways! I tend to think of the Silmarillion as "The Elves Got Shiny Things and then Bad Stuff Happened." XD I also read the books, but it's been ages and I have forgotten a lot of that. Movie canon works for me just fine, I tend to use that and draw extra things from the books if I need to go looking up references.

So! I am going to get started this afternoon after work.

By the way, I have a Plurk thingy like all the cool kids do (@caltheninja) since that would probably make for easier communication. Fair warning, I just got it and I am still learning how the heck it works.

ROFL. I guess that's a good sum up of it, yeah, haha. The movies do make life a little easier when it comes to – quickly – gathering an overview of the story. A mix of movie and book canon is always A+ rping though : D

Haha, no cosplay this time. I literally was dragged out of bed early Saturday morning and told I was going. Next year, perhaps!

And I totally made a journal for Thorin last night, 'cause ohmygodwatamIdoing. Um. Yolo, I guess!

There's a bunch of elves all over the place recently, two of which have been Tauriels. So I'm sure a bunch of other people would insta-love you if you brought Legolas.

Ahh yeah, Tauriel. I'm sure he will be all puppy-eyed or jealous, depending on whether or not a dwarf is also involved.

Thorin is not too pleased with this plan. He's all "if you let an elf in here you'll never get the stench out."

He thinks they smell like all of the above, and while he has gained some grudging respect for certain elves, he still likes them far better when they're nowhere near his person.
