And cool! I'd love to play against a Ruby! Killian can go several ways with a pre-curse rp. Is there anything in particular that you want to try?

Honestly, I'm open for pretty much anything. I know you said you were going off headcanon for now, and I can definitely figure out a way to fit her in there. Ruby does have that taste for adventure, after all.

What I'm most interested in right now is Killian's trip into Neverland because I sort of want to develop a psl in which he also takes on the role of Peter Pan. Not quite sure how that will work out just yet, though.

Ruby... could be a prospective crew member? I think Killian would like her. If he had a Storybrooke counterpart, I feel like he'd share her fashion sensibilities in some way.

You know, I've heard that theory before and I kind of adore it! I could definitely go along with that. Maybe Ruby panics after discovering what she is and sort of heads out on her own, running across Killian and his crew in one little seaside town or another?

Yes! And I can see him taking pity on the poor kid who is obviously so far away from home, then growing somewhat fond of her when her spunky attitude surfaces.

Oh totally! Granny would so blame him for all of Ruby's bad life choices, too! tbh I can see this developing into a brother-sister relationship but I can be easily persuaded to see it in a romantic light (I don't exactly have a favorite ship for this guy yet)

All she wants is a little excitement! Excitement that doesn't involve her killing and eating people. And of course, because she is who she is, Ruby will absolutely try to be the voice of reason and non-violence. At least in the beginning. At some point, even she would realize that's a lost cause. lol

It would be a nice change for her to not constantly be the one blamed for everything. He would be the very worst influence ever. I'm pretty open as far as the romance goes too. Not that it has to be decided in advance, of course. I'm always fine with just seeing how things play out.

I like how you think and I *love* the idea of her being the level-headed one. I think I'd like her to meet Killian pre-hook and pre-Milah... I imagine he was a lot more carefree then.

No rush with the romance angle either, just putting it out there that I'm open to it. And anything, really. The Storybrooke AU is beginning to interest me, I'm not quite sure where to start.

I put up a thread on sixwordstories that we could start with, though if you'd rather we use a musebox or a meme, I'm good with that too. :)

I haven't had much play with Red and Hook, so I was wondering what you had in mind?

Adventure! Mostly. I'm quite new with Killian so I've only played with a few cast members myself. But I remember thinking, when I first saw him, that he and Red looked like they had the same... kind of grungy, punky style? So of course they had to get along. ~~making shallow connections between character's who've never met is my specialty~~

The mun in the thread above also has a Red and we've been brainstorming about some ideas that we could do. If you'd like something more spontaneous, though, we can just meme something out?

Anyway, back to the subject at hand - they would make a pretty duo, certainly. ;) How would you feel about the crew maybe trying to use Red for her wolfy powers? Or trying to barter a wolf lass for something else?

Interesting take, them being enemies. I like the sound of the barter thing... Should be fun to play when Killian already has his hook. I might have to do some major improv here, though, since I don't think Hook returned from Neverland till after the curse took effect. I'm all for bending the timelines though. :D

We can canonbend! I would be more than open to that. After all, there's a lot that we don't know and speculating is half the fun. Something could happen that would set them against a common enemy - maybe the person who wanted a werewolf turned on him, etc.

Rapunzel has a post on sws right now, if you're interested in testing things out on that front! She's mostly post-curse and quite confused.

I put a post up over there yesterday but it goes off on a different tangent to what we've been brainstorming here.

Canonbending sounds fab yes let's do this. I want to run with the idea that post-hook Killian is full of vengeance and his life has become one big plan to kill Rumpel. Maybe he wants to trade the wolf-girl for a chance to catch Rumpel and he's looking for the right person to trade with... and then the deal goes wrong or something and Red winds up helping him out?

That sounds great! Actually Rapunzel's mother, The Witch, (since I take her from the play Into the Woods as well) could be the one he could deal with, but she might try to take more than he expected or has plans on cursing his ship or his crew. We don't have to plan out the entire thing, obviously, but this is so much fun!

I. love. that play. Though I haven't seen it in a while so my memory of the characters is rather rusty. My favorites were the Princes though. God such ridiculous men.

Killian would be so upset with the witch (does she have a name?) if she cursed his ship though. :( What if that happened first, then he takes Rapunzel hostage as revenge?

Aaah, yes! I played Rapunzel in high school, so she's close to my heart. :3 Obviously I don't go by the play entirely (like some unclear mashup of OUAT/ITW), but I still think that the Baker and his wife needed to go on a mission to break the Witch's curse. Rapunzel stays with her big brother (since she and the Baker never interact in the play!), his son, and a bunch of other rag tag people taking refuge after the curse.

Since Red and Killian meet earlier on this time line, I think she would help him get away from her by some means -- and now that he's out of Wonderland, he kidnaps Rapunzel in revenge because he knows that the witch is looking for her foster daughter.

I love the music... and Killian, I think, is going to try to trap her in that thread. Or not. We shall see. ;)

So, how should we go about putting Red into the story? Or do you want to focus on doing some threads with Rapunzel first? It might get a little confusing for you.

I'll be fine as long as I know that Red came first, teamwork before she leaves to hang with Smow, then the curse, then later Hook gets back at the witch with Rapunzel.

Of course, this is all just general outlining, subject to change if things come up! Is that okay with you?

Whelp, I've got an ouat-verse Ariel here that I have. Less than I should figured out for, but there is nothing wrong with winging it.

empirics) because apparently I'm amassing a small army and I don't know why I do these things.

Well, I won't lie. I think Tumblr kind of really intriguing me with the idea of Hook and Ariel. It wouldn't necessarily have to be romantic, if you didn't want it to be, and I'd have to work out a few details in the ideas I have about her story already, but there is that.

Also, I'm interested to see how he'd play off of Belle, a little bit, given her relationship to Rumplestiltskin and the whole. Hand and Milah thing, you know.

And Belle! Oh Belle. You know, the scene where she speaks to Grumpy comes to mind. I'd love to try something like that, having them meet at a tavern and talk about things. When he realizes that she has a connection to Rumpel though... he wouldn't be above using her to get Rumpel's attention.

Oh, goodness, there's fanfic and everything. This fandom wastes exactly none of the time. Most of them seem to have Killian taking the place of Eric and there are pirate adventures and I would be all for that, so yes.

Part of why I love Belle is that when the cards are all down, she doesn't take crap from anyone. So that should be fun. And I don't think Killian is as bad as he plays himself out to be. He might want to keep her until he can figure out how to use her against Rumpel.

I think it'd be easier to wing it in memes for right now, at least until I get everything smoothed over. I just picked her up a few days ago, so I am basically making things up as I go too, high-five.

How about a musebox, for some variety? We pretty much have a good outline for the scene anyway aka Meeting at a tavern. I'd love to see them bond over their mutual lost loves. :3c
