I've been RP'ng for years and I am currently looking for a few one-on-one partners to indulge my whims. I am already a part of a larger game. So, as of now, I'm only looking for those types of RP's. Playing for years is wonderful - although I've hated the way that RP has shifted since I first began playing.

I'm exactly the same. I began playing eons ago in a close-knit single-fandom community. It was a bit of a culture shock when single-fandom communities began to disappear in favor of panfandoms. Twitter, Tumblr, FB? Forget it, I can barely be bothered to keep up with those myself.

[Although I did happen to check Mark's Twitter today out of a bit of boredom/curiosity, and his tattoo? I can't even. /ot]

I feel like those mediums aren't really creative anymore. They're all *actions* and dialogue. And I don't touch panfandoms. I'm new to the whole muse thing, but I only play on livejournal. Well and here now. I wanted to branch out, but stay in my comfort zone.

To be honest, I've found so many people through muse communities. With both my prior muse and Puckerman, I've randomly began threading with no-fandom-affiliation OCs and it has been some of my favorite play. When there is a serious lack of fandom communities, sometimes muse communities are the best way to find fandom muses/players. Perhaps I'm a little less flexible than most - I prefer to play with Glee muses. Although, these days, it seems like I'm stuck with AU situations - and many people get cranky about those. Dislike!

I began on livejournal about nine or ten years ago. I was a bit of a baby when I began... I had a beta account for Dreamwidth and loved everything but the inactivity, and finally moved over for good when it began getting active in RP. [We can keep ?view=flat on threads here! It's glorious.]

I started about that time too, actually. Maybe a little later, but Glee's the fandom I've RP'd in the most. I don't mind OC playing at all. It's just with the canon for season 4, I find myself clinging to the originals. Luckily, Santana is my fandom bike. I literally ship her with EVERYONE on show in some capacity. My favorites being Finntana, Pezberry, Pucktana, Quinntana, and Quinntina. Most recently, I've been dying to try out some Jaketana just because I'm curious about the dynamic.

I haven't had much luck with muses just yet, but I'm hopeful. Mostly, no one has approached me. Well except for you. :)

About to snap off to bed, but - I play with an AMAZING Rachel. [That's not to say that others aren't - I've just been playing with this one for about two years now? And I love her so much, IC and OOC.]

I've typically played my Puck with Rachel and Quinn - I haven't found a Santana who plays anything other than Brittana, honestly. I did have crackplay going for awhile with a wonderful Sam. Oh, drunk!memes...

I'll be around tomorrow! I play with a good Rachel and an amazing Quinn, but I also play Rachel, Quinn, and Sam as well. Santana is by far my favorite to play. She's my favorite character.

I rarely play Brittana. I have issues finding Finns that don't ship Finchel or Pucks that don't ship Quick or Puckleberry.

Santana is lovely. There are so many aspects to her that you can play - she's not at all a static character.

I've only ever played Puck [in Glee]. I've played with some great people in the past, but PSLs make it difficult to play with a group. My Rachel took on Santana for a bit for our AU... that was fun. I should link you.

Finchel makes me want to projectile vomit, to be honest.

I absolutely ship Quick and Puckleberry, but Puck is equal-opportunity "I'd tap that." Who am I to limit him? ;)

Things to know about me, I love to play a good, ridiculous character. And each of them is funny in their own way. Quinn can be, at times, a little less because she's kind of uptight and can be slightly crazy, but all of the rest I just love making them, momentarily, extreme. Like I play Sam in my one game and he's been married to Mercedes for about 20 years and he just thinks he's an honorary African-American, but like is still the whitest white guy to ever white.

I can't with Finchel. *shudders*

I ship Puck with everyone. I don't know how much I believe he and Santana could make it would beyond bros that occasionally hook up to scratch an itch, but I've also never tried.

That is always fun. I love playing Puck's wackier side - he can be so sagacious at times, but then comes out with something so... dumb-jock.

I feel as though he and Santana would end up killing each other if they were long-term. They're too much alike and it would probably be All Angry Sex, All the Time, even to the point of them irritating each other deliberately just for the sex. That being said, I've played multiple games/PSLs where Puck is with Quinn or Rachel, and he keeps nudging to involve Santana.

I've never tried Puck/Santana exclusively - again with Brittana-loving players.

I love the broship between Pucktana, but I also think they get each other in ways other people don't. How that would translate into an actual relationship, I'm unsure, but I'd like to find out.

I've met Cory (we had a hockey debate), Naya, Ashley Fink, Kevin, Darren, Chord, and Riker. I'm thrilled that Sam returned last year, though. There's something about the character that's very well done, but I can't put my finger on what it is exactly.

I'm right there with you on that. It would definitely be an interesting thing - I don't necessarily think that they'd begin with a "relationship", but - if they had one - it would have started elsewhere, either a very regular turning mostly monogamous "friends with benefits" or even a roommate situation that just goes from there.

They definitely wouldn't begin in a relationship. It's more like something they'd fall into. LOL those two are not great at relationships.

After years in the fandom of games with players who are just insane, (seriously idk what it is about rp'ng that brings out the crazy in people) we started making our games invite only.

Also, we're starting a new game that's completely OCs because it sometimes feels like you're just regurgitating the same stuff when you've been playing the same characters for so long. So we wanted to try our hand at completely new characters that can never be ruined by canon. lol

Agree completely. Oh my god, the stories I have... RP is for fun and stress relief, not to get your panties in a twist for something that's imagination-only. I've met some really great people through RP, though. Two sides to every coin, I suppose.

I like playing AUs - not necessarily "Glee in Hogwarts" or "Glee in the 1800's" or anything like that, but more of a "what if?". A Quinn I played with frequently on LJ and I were being quite snarky during the "Glee: TNG" craze on LJ and we tweaked it (mostly because we were cranky that they'd set Puck/Lauren as a permanent pairing in the verse). She was married to Sam, Puck was married to Lauren, and Puck and Quinn were having an affair. We got everybody in on it - it was actually quite interesting. My verse with my Rachel is very loosely based on "The City" by smc-27... I think that there's plenty of room for characters and development but you really do need to go beyond canon for that.

(The problem with invite-only play is that it makes it difficult to find other good players without weeding through some miserable/dramatic ones.)

Some of my best friends I've met through RP'ng. So I gotcha.

I will basically play anything in a game as long as I have chemistry with the player. That's how I came to ship Finntana and Artana. It's sincerely also how I came back to shipping Brittana.

Love SMC-17! Most Finntana and Pezberry, but I like her Puckleberrypez fic is amazing.

We actually have an RP group. I call them The Crazy 88. A friend and I actually combined our groups and so far we have about 20 players we know are solid. So it's worked out for us.

YES. That one was amazing. Puck/Santana/Rachel is more fun than it really ought to be. If that was canon, they'd have to move Glee to HBO or Showtime. (Oh please please please.)
