Canon or AU: I use a mesh of games and the SD Perry books for Sherry's background I like as close to canon as possible, but with some characters I know it's not possible.

For CWC Umbrella's started up a new lab in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  would be fun to have scientists as well as heroes around to try to keep damage control to a minimum. 

With everything else she's just in the mood to get out and stretch a little.  Blame it on getting antsy for the new game.

Muse wanted: Castmates, AU castmates, angels from other canons, but particularly Sam Winchester (with or without soul) for plottings.

So, what happened here is I got to thinking about Balthazar and Free Will, because as much as he seems to like the idea, there's a hint of desperation in his suggestion that he "might as well blow coke and jump on the bed". It almost sounds like he's still trying to convince himself, or having a temper tantrum, or both.

What I get out of his exchange with soulless Sam is a sense of fascination with a human who has no conscience and no boss and is therefore beholden to no one. Angels have bosses, demons have a hierarchy, and even now that Balthazar's run away, there are some things he'd like to do but can't quite suppress the angelic instincts enough to try. What Sam has, without a soul to apply the brakes, seems like the essence of freedom.

I'd like to play with that concept, have some more interaction between the two characters, and possibly bring in the idea that because Balthazar did Sam a favor, he's owed something in return. I'm happy to have the rest of the cast involved, or handwave things. (I have a friend playing a Cas for me, but I'm happy to hear from other versions of him, too.) I am NOT necessarily looking for shipping or smut with this, just plot. I'm open to discussing the possibility, but a long CR buildup would be imperative, regardless.

I'm also happy to plot other things with other characters, so contact me with any ideas at all, but the above is what's in my brain today.
